Matt Taibbi again. This guy is a serious slap in the face for every MSM journalist out there. Funny to see some of the media waking up to the news. Anyway you need to be asleep for 3 years if you don’t know what the SEC is all about.

Now what he is saying is that the investigators think that the SEC destroyed exactly those files that would get investigations started. And this within a period of about 20 years! Wow!

I mean these are the people who preffered to watch porn 8 hours a day instead of doing what they ought to.  Going back in time I found this:

The Securities and Exchange Commission is the sheriff of the financial industry, looking for crimes such as Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, but a new government report obtained by ABC News has concluded that some senior employees spent hours on the agency’s computers looking at sites such as naughty.com, skankwire and youporn as the financial crisis was unfolding.

“These guys in the middle of a financial crisis are spending their time looking at prurient material on the Internet,” said Peter Morici, a professor at the University of Maryland and former director of the Office of Economics at the U.S. International Trade Commission.

But may be that was exactly what they were paid for by the squid: Looking at some other sort of naked truth while they were sort of gangbanging the remaining US middle class next door.

…but go figure out for yourself!
